“ 5 Stars A Hidden Gem! Im from Houston and stopped by Taqueria Mi Tia on my way into Austin and WOW. The pozole? Absolutely bomb. Flavorpacked, comforting, and hit all the right notes. They went above and beyond with their service too super accommodating! I asked for a suero, and they made me one with mineral water, manzanita, lemon, and a touch of sauce. Toptier. The woman who helped me was so kind and made the whole experience even better. Theres no way Im ever visiting Austin or Round Rock again without stopping here first its officially a tradition before heading back to Houston. Dont sleep on this spot! ”
“ A small, unassuming store front on the corner Gattis School Rd. And Greenlawn might have reincarnated my grandma Ama. I had a few minutes before I had to be at my sub job, so I stopped by and saw they serve nopalitos! I bought 1 full and deliciously greasy taco and took it with me. I say at my desk and opened the foil wrapping to steaming tastiness. I took a bite and immediately thought of Ama. I was almost teary eating this taco. I didnt even use the salsa. I came back the next day to get more tacos for my family. They have adm extensive taco menu but also caldo de res, pozole and menudo! I cant wait to try those! After a friendly chat with the hostess, I found out that the store front opened a year ago last February. The owner had been selling in the convenience store next door before that. I was told that EVERYTHING is made there. I saw three women rolling and pressing tortillas HOMEMADE TORTILLAS! They even make the masa in house! Im so very impressed! If food holds an importantly nostalgic place in your heart, please support this taqueria! You wont regret it! ”

“ Small taco shop with breakfast options as well. It was filled with people for lunch rush but there was still room to sit comfortably. The food was great and came out quick along with salsa and toppings cilantro, lime and onion. I was most impressed with the service as two of the waiters went out of their way to accommodate my stepdad who was being picky about which chile he wanted on the side. Great service and food definitely recommend coming here if youre looking for somewhere that is affordable and casual. ”
“ I was visiting Texas, and landed up getting sick. I was looking for a place for some real authentic soup and I just happened to find this Restaurant. Nothing fancy but the service was great and the Caldo de Res was superior. Waitress was very friendly. The pricing was great also. I went back three more times and I had a great experience. ”
“ When I didnt hear any English and the family in the kitchen arguing I knew I found the right place. The hole in the wall Mexican restaurant youre looking for. I couldve waited over an hour and it STILL would have been worth it for the food! Thats how good it is. ACTUAL homemade tortillas!! Who needs fancy overpriced restaurants when you could get better tasting food from a locally owned family business. Will be coming here forever. ”
